A Haven For Cats

Welcome to Cordeaux Cats, a haven for our feline friends who need a little extra love and care! At Cordeaux Cats we specialize in rescuing disabled cats, as well as those with complex medical or behavioral issues. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where these special cats can thrive!

As a dedicated rescue, we understand that every cat deserves a chance at a happy and fulfilling life. That’s why we ensure that no more than 21 cats are taken in at a time. By limiting the number of cats in our care, we can provide each feline resident with the individualised attention, medical care, and support they need to overcome their challenges.

Human Paws are proud to support Cordeaux Cats donating our profits to the cause. We are driven by our passion for feline welfare, and all profits generated from our endeavours go directly towards supporting our rescued cats‘ needs. These funds are primarily allocated to cover veterinary bills, specialised treatments, and rehabilitation programs tailored to each cat‘s specific requirements.
 
We have cats currently in care with the following disabilities:
– deaf
– blind
– cerebellar hypoplasia
– bilateral luxating patellars
– diabetes
– hyperthyroidism
– intervertebral disc disease
– legge perthese disease
– leg amputation
– tail amputation
– chromosomal abnormalities
 – broken bones
– PTSD

Our Cats

Many have undergone repeated bouts of surgery, undergo regular treatment (eg laser, hydro, physical therapy), are on lifelong medication regimes or require ongoing veterinary care. 
 
Our team of experienced caregivers, veterinarians, and volunteers work tirelessly to create a nurturing environment for our residents. Whether it’s administering medications, providing physical therapy, or simply offering a warm lap to snuggle on, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for every cat under our care.
 
We believe that every disabled or medically challenged cat deserves a chance to be loved and cherished, and we strive to find loving forever homes for each one. Through careful adoption procedures, we ensure that our cats are matched with compassionate and responsible families who can provide them with the care they need.
